Vista Tutorial - low sound in videos

Greetings,

In attempting to play downloaded videos of any stripe or origin, the SOUND is so low as to be inaudible. I have the mixer tabs put all the way up, but to no avail. Please advise. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Lebeauadi

Have you tried adjusting the sound level on the playback program as well?

Have you tried VLC Player;
VLC media player for Windows

Thanks for the quick response, Old Pooch...

I downloaded VLC media player, which looks promising, but don't really understand how to employ it to play a YouTube video that is on the web. Possibly I haven't looked deeply enough into the directions.

No, you didnt say youtube,

to play these with VLC you will have to covert them first, or use another player that can play flv data. Maybe someone here can help you with a good player/converter
