| Vista Home | Sound Level Meters sometimes appear, somtimes not In the SOUND dialog box for BOTH Playback and Recording (Control Panel/ Sound), the Sound Level meters sometimes appear and sometimes do not appear. In one case, I even had one device (USB audio adapter) not show level meters while the rest did. Currently I have one login (user) on the same laptop that shows the level meters, on one login (another username) NOT show the level meters! I have looked everywhere for info on this issue and have found no answers or ways of controlling the appearance and disapperance of the sound level meters.  Please advise with any assistance. Anything that can help me will be greatly appreciated.
