Laptop keeps losing its audio driver

I have a toshiba satellite M305D-S4830 and every 2-3 days it will lose its audio driver. I called Toshiba support and they told me to be a system restore and that only works for 2 days and then it does it again. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the audio driver from the website and it doesn't work. I really shouldn't have to do a system restore every time this happens. Maybe someone can help me figure out what the problem is?

I have vista 64x bit purchased roughly 4 months ago.

Hi immiowncritic,

If the laptop is only 4 months old take it back and let Toshiba fix it.
If Vista x64 (not the lappy) is 4 months old has it had this problem all the time?
