| Vista Home 64bit | Asus p5q-e mobo, vista64, soundmax, no digital output to receiver Hi all. Just got a new computer. Vista 64, Asus Mobo p5q-e with soundmax. Trying to use digital output to my Sony reciever... no sound. I get sound using line out to R&L on receiver and have tested receiver digital in to make sure it works. I downloaded latest Asus Soundmax drivers as well. I set it as default as well. Under windows/control panel/sound, it shows as stereo, no sound output with test. I downloaded and installed vista codec (32 and 64), not that I thought it would help...lol Anyone have this problem or have any suggestions? Somersjr Last edited by Somersjr; 01-08-2009 at 07:11 PM.. Have a look at ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Forum- Vista 64, P5Q-E, EAH3450, no sound using mobo digital output. It may help you get your issue resolved. S |
