Realtek HD Audio Manager's is reading things

As I was playing a game my speakers stopped and minimized, then my Realtek HD Audio Manager says that my headset is plugged in, I looked to see if it was, it wasn't...and now my sound is muted, I rebooted the computer and there was no change, I closed Realtek Audio Manager down and started it back up and still no change! So does anyone know how why its saying my headset is plugged in when its NOT and how to get rid of it?

Sincerely, InuYasha194

And just now as I type it stopped reading the imaginary headset...is this a virus or is my pc going on an internal-spaz-attack?

if it ever does this again, simply open up the realtek hd audio manager, double click the heatset input and set it as front speakers out
