| win 7 | Realtek HD ALC890 Crackle! Not sure why its doing it but its just started having the odd crackle , i'm seriously going to save up my dosh for an xfi the sound quality is dreadful  p.s I'm in a bad mood today  |

| Vista Business x64 | Re: Realtek HD ALC890 Crackle! I just ran into this problem with my machine running an ALC883 chipset. I got this odd crackle playing music in WMP and the sound crackled/cut out watching Netflix videos. Uninstalling/Re-installing the sound drivers resolved the issue here with the exception of some mp3s not sounding as crisp as they should. Not sure what to do about that.
