For no apparant reason I have lost sound on my laptop
Have checked obvious but suspect it may be since I installed Logitech webcam recently to use in Yahoo messenger.
I use Vista Home premium 32 bit
Any help would be appreciated

STOP the PRESS
Fixed it thanks to another thread where a power user Mr Needs gave advice to right click the sound icon on the taskbar, go to playback devices, and ensure the laptop speakers are set as default. Worked for me. Still suspect the webcam installation had something to do with it
