when i first got the laptop a headphones device used to appear whenever i plugged in my headphones. now that does not happen. instead the speakers device stays by itself and the audio does play throught the headphones alone, but i am using an audio editing program that gets confused and looks for the headphones as the default audio playback device. is there a way to manually add headphones to the device playback list, or completely remove the headphones as a device altogether? thanx in advance
