| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Sound Changes Randomly The sound on my computer changes up and down randomly. It only moves a tiny bit so as long as I keep the "change volume" sound set off it doesn't normally bother me. Just today though it changed. Now I can't change the volume at all and the amount that it changes by itself is much larger than it used to be. I also can't open the volume mixer. I also have a program(WhatPulse) that counts the number of keystrokes, distance the mouse moves, and number of mouseclicks. It counts the number of times the volume buttons are pressed. It counted about 600 button presses in 1 minute during which I wasn't clicking anything so that was all from the volume changing. I have a HP Pavilion dv5 Notebook PC. Vista Home Premium 64 bit. |
