Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic Problem

Hi there,
i seem to have a problem with my sound card:Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic, were there would be a very sharp static noise, more static, and then the sound would totally cut out for like 2 - 5 mins.... then come back on. And this proccess would jusst occur randomly when im on the "Entertainment Mode".
Game mode and audio creation mode seem to be fine....
Has it got anything to do with my setting..?
My settings are:
"Set for Headphones"
Smart Volume Mangement
X-Fi Crystalizer
EQ
Please Help!
