| vista x 64 home premium | sound in Vista hi, there seems to be a delay in me pressing play ,then about a minute later the sound will come out,i can turn my sound card off,and then it sometimes works,its like it freezes,is it because i got the sound card through fire wire, |

| vista x 64 home premium | Re: sound in Vista hi, it doesnt do it all the time,just now and again,everything will not play sound,i find if i reset media options in explorer it works,and restarting the sound card, by everything i mean windows media player itunes youtube any sound that comes from the pc then its like i reset and it comes on, i know what you mean about the latency, what music programs do you use with vista 64, thanks |

| vista x 64 home premium | Re: sound in Vista hi i tried useing cubase sx but all the modi channels got mixed up,and the midi in keeps loosing connection,so i use vst and it seems ok,but want a more updated version of cubase,tried useing sonar but had problems with the midi,so went back to vst, is 4.5 the new cubase out, |

| 1 x Vista Ultimate x64; 2 x Vista Home Premium x64 | Re: sound in Vista Also make sure you have the latest drivers installed for the sound card. You may also want to go into your Bios and disable onboard sound if your MB has it. There could be some internal conflict over the sound devices fighting for IRQs (doubtful, but you never know). |
