good free cd burner program for vista 64?

hello,

my roxio media creator will not work on 64 bit vista :-( and it is a fine little program that is not larded up with all the latest useless to me junk.

tried using win media player and it is not particularly well designed or easy to use for what I want to do which is just open a folder, drag and drop files, burn. don't want to mess around with any of that library baloney and do want to be able to retitle files.

all I use media player for is to listen to cds, song files, and dvds, dont use any of that library, internet acess etc.

so is there a concise small quick free program just to drag and drop files to burn a cd?

have audacity for editing.

you could use windows drag and drop feature, just drag your files to the drive and start the burning process, it will ask you if you want to make it a live file system or a mastered system, choose mastered and this will create a data cd or dvd depending if you want that type of thing, but for audio cd's you will need something more, WMP isnt very good at burning audio cds and unless you have nero installed, it burns very slowly. I cant guide you on audio burning software as i dont use audio CD's, mine are all data cds as my car plays MP3s straight from disc.

went with roxio 2009....

works fine though it's bloated as heck with features I don't really want, but then, other people probably want them.

while watching a dvd I can fill the whole screen and get rid of the annoying tool bars during playback which I like.

plus it has a wav editor which is really handy!
