Vista - tried uninstal sound card, got a message Setup.exe quit working

tried uninstal sound card, got a message Setup.exe quit working

i tried to un-install creative sound blaster titanium pro in Vista 64bit
Programs and features:add/remove.

got a message that Setup.exe quit working

i also got an Error 5001

IS THERE ANY WAY TO FIX THIS,
i later noticed the 2 cards, old/new, probably have the same drivers.
