Speakers Issue

Well yesterday I had my laptop plugged into my school's sound system in the auditorium. Everything worked fine.

Today, at home, I went to play music from the built in speakers and I hear nothing. When i look at the Realtek HD Audio manager, its telling me that I have an audio output device connected, when i do not.

I tried plugging in external speakers, and sound works. Unplug the speakers, silence.

I tried reinstalling the sound drivers, but that didnt change anything.

Does anyone have and ideas on how to solve this?

Re: Speakers Issue

Hi Silveroreo and welcome to Vista Forums

Can you right-click the speaker icon in the system tray and post back an image showing the Playback devices page?
