| Vista Ultimate x64 | Thinking about getting an X-FI xtreme music, but i'm not sure about coax optical? I only have a stereo setup at the min but my amp has an optical in. Dose the x-fi xtrememusic ouput optical through one of the stereo ports like a mini disc player connection ie would this cable i have already have from my old mini disc player be any good? heres a link VIVANCO PHCT515 << UK >> AVLAND Vivanco PHCT515 Toslink to 3.5mm Minidisc Cable It's optical kind of square shaped at one end like my amp connection is with a traditional stereo shaped jack at the other end which also carries the red optical light in the middle. I was just about to buy this card for a good price i saw, but if it does not output optical without coax leads i don't think i'll bother with it seems abit silly not to include common types of connections that people use for the price of theses cards. |
