speaker balance issue

Hello All,
After upgrading to Vista I cannot find where to set the balance on speakers. I play the acoustic guitar and have CDs and wav files that I was able to balance to one speaker or another via XP in order to hear only one guitar part while I practice. I have been unable to find this seemingly simple control in Vista however. Any help would be appreciated.

yes sure, all you need to do is right click your speaker icon in the notification area, and select playback devices, click on speakers and properties,
this will bring up a window with a few tabs, in the tabs at the top, click on levels, next to your audio output will be an option called balance, click that and tinker til your hearts content.
