Hello everyone! Ive read 10000 forums where guys have been having same problem as I, but I saw none working solutions. : (

So Ive Vista 32bit and Asus P5Q3 motherboard with integrated Realtek soundcard and logitech 5.1 speakers (which worked fine with xp).

What I would like to have is: Have 5.1 sounds out of my mp3's and others music like I did before. Some pll told me that its "simulated" and u cant have real 5.1 with mp3's but Im fine with that... But this feels stupid, having 5+1 speakers from only 2+1 work while listening music. : ((

Thanks alot and Im looking forward to see helping replys for me and many others with this same prob ! : )

Regards, Olli

Do you have the latest audio drivers for the board?

ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-

Maybe update all the drivers for the board if you can.

Even if you have the latest audio drivers it might be a good idea to delete all those audio drivers and do a fresh install of them.

Hi Olli,

Welcome to the forum.

Right click on the speaker symbol in the Notification area, select playback devices, select the speaker symbol and then properties you are looking for Speaker Fill and all you have to do is put a tick in the box to get all speakers working with your music
