speaker 5.1 not working

using vista 32 bit
speaker is set as 5.1
testing the speaker results are all good. all speakers are working

but if play audio/video only 2 satellite speaker and the subwoofer are working

help

Do you have a game that uses 5.1 sound? Most is 2 speaker stereo.

Kinalas, check your driver, I was having the same problem, it turned out to be the driver I was using was a dud.

Also, once you uninstall and install new drivers, make sure to unplug and replug the cables back so the software manager can pick up your speaker system.
