Vista64 Home Prem on a Gateway, amd turion x2, Conexant audio device.
This laptop has a touch sensitive volume control on the top right of the keyboard. The volume control responds fine on normal use, but when I run IE (7 or 8) 32 bit, or any 32 bit app, after a while the volume starts to turn down by itself. I pull up the volume control from the task bar and I can see the slider moving down. I move it up and it starts going back down immediately. I tried different drivers, even uninstalling the device and have Vista use the MS drivers.
The on keyboard volume control touch slider led is stuck lit up on the lower end and does not respond to touch.
It almost seems to start when ever I start watching a flash video, like on YouTube. And since Adobe hasn't released a 64 bit flash player, i am stuck using 32-bit IE.
