usb to speaker is disfunctional

my casio music keyboard is input to the usb ( vista home premium 32bit & realtek HD audio). The PC accepts data from music keyboard for storage on c drive. Device manager shows keyboard. All drivers up to date. Sound folder shows speakers but no recording devices. Speakers work ok with games & windows. Mic into green port works OK. How do I get realtek to recognise a USB as an input for midi
Hope someone out there can help
