I could use some help here my old headset had given up on me the last ear phone had blown out, so I decided to buy a new headset now this headset has the Green and Pink cables, My old headset had USB and I have tried so many things to try and get this to work but to no sign of it working I have almost given up,



It just does not detect the headset at all nothing Ive tried device manager or what not, I have checked my sound card and I am getting really frusterated with this headset,

I really need help I want to be able to use at a headset in game,

I have a LivCON MM30

Does this have anything to do with my sound card plus when you search LivCON MM30 you won't get much.

Assuming onboard audio, is it enabled in the bios and are the drivers for it installed? Checked in the Vista audio playback and recording settings that the sound card (and not the USB headset) are both set as the default devices?

One thing you need to remember is that a USB headset in no way whatsoever makes use of a sound card (either onboard or an actual card), as it usually has its own DSP and drivers (or depending on the headset, just use Windows own USB drivers).
