Vista Tutorial - I need speakers for my laptop any suggestions?

I am looking around for speakers for my laptop and not sure of what is really a good pair for a reasonable price. I am running vista x64 ... any help would be grateful..

just depends on what you want and what you are going to use them for.

music or gaming i would get ones with a sub.

well to be quite honest, i am not that familiar with speakers at all.. I have some old ones here that was hooked up to my desktop and I wish that I could use them but they are the plug in type and I'm not sure if they have a usb adapter out that I would be able to still use them.... I basically just want a simple set up being that i don't know anything about speakers...ty for replying!

go to walmart or target if you have them in your area and just get some that will work.

don't go to cheap or to expensive go for the ones right in the middle price range.

Would you like a simple left and right speaker? I would recommend go for 2.1 speakers with a sub woofer. Im using it in my laptop and i m quite happy with it.

thank you for your replies, i think that I might just do that and get some speakers from walmart... I never thought of looking in walmart....

you can get them there for like 50 bucks for 2 speakers and a sub and it sounds decent.
