So I followed the instructions and had uninstalled everything i installed with the disc it came with. I then downloaded the drivers from the creative website for windows 32bit and restarted.

Still no mic i checked the settings in the sound and nothing is muted and all bars are at high. I can hear everyone but no one can hear me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello BIGGD,
Have you configured the mic in the control panel ?.
Go to control panel and open Sound, there you will see a panel that looks like this, highlight the mic you are using and configure.

Also if you are using the mic in a game, you may need to configure the mic in the game sound options, make sure you dont need to press a key to transmit.
Hope some of this helps, Good luck and post your results.

I tried to configure the mic but it wont pick up my voice for speech recognition.
The game I play is BF2 and I use a button to talk in game and also in Team speak.
Will this mic not work with push to talk gaming?

All drivers and firmware are downloaded for the headset and restarted the computer. Still no microphone.

I saw a similar post in this area about vista thinking the headphones are speakers maybe that is why in properties I do not show the place to enable microphone boost nor do I have the ability to access HRTF.

Thanks
