Missing Realtek HD Audio Manager in system tray

Hello, I recently bought a Toshiba A300D laptop (64 bit, home premium) and it had the Realtek audio driver installed to have the audio output through the hdmi port. After doing a full restore the driver and icon for the manager gui in the system tray were missing. I downloaded and installed the 64 bit driver found here:
Toshiba - Download Vista drivers:

Was this the correct driver to install?
Where can I get the Realtek hd audio manager for this laptop so I have the options to choose different sound settings like jazz, etc? And have the icon in my system tray?

Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Re: Missing Realtek HD Audio Manager in system tray

Ok, I installed the latest Realtek driver, once to uninstall the current driver followed by a restart. Install the second time to add the Realtek driver. When I go into the program listing in the control panel, it has the Realtek Semiconductor driver listed. But in device manager it only says HDMI audio device, not Realtek listed. As well HD audio manager is knowhere to be found.

Am I missing a step here?

You must have another sound device installed, look in device manager and see what is there.
