Re: Logitech Microphone VISTA 64BIT dont work!! help

Does the microphone pick up audio in any other application, or are you having a problem with just the speech recognition tool?

On your recording devices list (from the Sound icon in your Control Panel), is your Logitech microphone set as the default recording device? If not, you might want to try that.

Still on the list of recording devices, does the comment on the microphone tell you that it is "Working"? Does the little sound bar to the right of the device register any sound?

If you go into the properties of your microphone, in the Advanced tab, try changing the sample rate and bit depth to say CD Quality - see if that helps.

Is this microphone a USB device? If it is, is it connected directly to a USB port on your computer, or are you connecting through a USB hub? If it is connecting through a hub, try connecting directly to your computer - your hub might not be feeding enough power to the microphone.

Good luck!
