| Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit | Need help with Fatal1ty Headset Alright, I got the fatal1ty headset and I'm having a problem with my MIC. The headphones are working perfectly. It's recognizing the headset but no sound is coming out when I speak, seems like it's on mute, on the headset the mic is set on "on." |

| Vista Home Premium x64 | Re: Need help with Fatal1ty Headset are you trying to get the sound through the speakers?, you would need to enable the stereo mix for that, right click the recording devices menu, and select show disabled devices, right click stereo mix and enable: ![]() This should give you mic output through speakers, but it proves to be more annoying than having it off, to test your mic, simply open up the sound recorder and record yourself talking into the mic, play it back and if you heard yourself then the mic works. (make sure your microphone is set to the default device ) |
