How To Copy DVD music to MP3 ??

I wish to copy some songs from DVD music concerts, to play on CD in car.
Is there any freeware around to do this ? I have DVD ripper, but am not clever enough to find individual tracks once copied to hard drive....any help would be appreciated.

Re: How To Copy DVD music to MP3 ??

I can't personally vouch for this as I haven't used it to rip anything. There may be better alternatives - but it is free and supports the following formats:

*.vob , *.dat, *.mpeg, *.mpg

Free DVD MP3 Ripper - Freeware converts DVD to MP3, VCD to MP3, MPEG to MP3.

Just select your source file and set your output location and settings.

Format factory ( Format Factory - Free media file format converter ) is an excellent program to convert to .mp3.

Thanks for you help guys, have checked out both softwares, the problem I have is that I I don't seem to be able to get a specific track, when I rip files... ie a menu which gives me track 1 to 15 or a list of titles....... I have VOB files which is great but they do not give me any indication of track Numbers, plus there are only about six files, and songs overlap into those files, which means I can not copy a full song. Am I doing something wrong or is it that hard and I am chasing rainbows? I guess I need to find a program that will rip and display individual tracks. Is this possible...? Any advice appreciated.
