Re: Seperate a audio

Is an old very rare movie <<siver homnen>> in mkv format and when i play it i hear both english and japan tha same time.
Iv tried mkvmerge etc but....
Both sounds/languages are in the same audio file so is little tricky to seperate them.
(The languages are not in seperates audio files to right click and choose the one or the other via the player properties )
I need an advance program to edit the audio file if that is possible.
I use many players vlc tiger bsp zoom wmc... are all good for mkv/matroska format

What you need to strip one language is a ripping tool that handles MKV files. there is a comprehensive site (doom9.net i think) that has any audio or video tool you will ever need. if you google doom9 its there

Good Luck

Re: Seperate a audio

What exactly i mean...
I have a movie in MKV format.
I use mkvmerge and i extract the audio from the movie in MKV format.
So now i have one MKV audio file.
When i play this MKV audio i hear 2 languages the same time.
What exactly i want...
I want a program to open/edit the MKV audio file and remove the one language!!
Then with mkvmerge i will add back again the <<new>> audio in my movie,so i will hear only one language when i watching it.

I understand. thats called ripping out a languge. You might also be able to do it if each language is in a seperate channel. If nothing on doom9 looks good to you have you tired googling it?
