Hi and sorry if this has already been answered, but searched through the site using the search function and no other topic had the answer I was looking for, which is a clear Yes/No.
Today I bought a new headset, an USB-one, first time I am using that, my other headset was oldschool with 2Jacks. I spent alot of time on Ventrilo, and want my sound to come through both my speakers and my headset, so that I remain to have the possibility to just turn off the speakers when the house needs to be silent.
Now, with my old headset it wasnt a problem at all, had(And still do) the main speakers plugged in in the rear jackslot. The headset was plugged in, in the front jack sticks, (Mic and sound). Now when using an USB, the Vista64, disable my main speakers when I plug USB in, I was able to find the options for it, and now got music coming through my speakers, but no sound through headset.
Is it possible to have sound coming from both sources at the same time?
