No Control of sound via keyboard shortcuts

Hi,

In the last few months I have been unable to adjust my speaker volume by using the keyboard shortcut buttons, ( fn + F10; fn + F11; fn + F12).
Is there a way I can fix this?

Yes. The programs that advertise upgrading your drivers are bogus. Windows Update will work just fine.

I ran my windows update and updated everything, still having the same problem. When I press the keyboard shortcuts an indicator comes up on my screep showing that the volume is going up or down, but nothing happens to the actual volume, it still stays at the same level
