What i want to do is play a beat and anything that records what i'm doing will pick up the beat i'm playing with out having to use a mic. I can then add my own lyrics with the microphone. Having the program (or website) pickup my beat from the computer and not the mic helps increase the quality of the beat. My $20 mic from wal-mart just wont do.
I am a member of a site called letsbeef.com, which is a freestyle rap site. You can play a custom beat, but you will have to use your microphone to pick up the vocals AND the beat which prevents you from adjusting the volume levels of your beat AND your voice.
