I have a Lenovo SL400 model 2743-CTO w/ Vista Home Basic, factory installed. I lost the ability to record. A right-click on the speaker icon in the Tray shows no recording devices are installed.
The audio's a Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221 which used the current driver, 4.75.0.50. plus Intel's High Definition Audio HDMI, driver 6.10.0.2060.
Tried removing the devices, uninstalling the drivers, deleting them, rebooting, then redownloading the drivers from Lenovo and reinstalling them. Didn't help.
Lenovo is giving me the bum's rush, 5 days before the warranty should expire; I got this 360 days ago, but they time the warranty from the ship date. Ripoff!
