i have Conexant HD audio,i downloaded it from hp,thinkin it would help,it did,nt.i had realtek before that

Which is it? You can only have one or the other, not both. Realtek drivers will not work with Conexant hardware and vice-versa.

Sorry, but no. You have to use the correct driver for your hardware. It's a bit like trying to use an ATI graphics driver on an NVidia graphics card (or vice-versa). It just won't work.
