    Speakers and headphones disabled!!

Hey i'm new here and i'm really desperate! I accidentally disabled my speakers and headphones in Vista Home Premium. I tried to enable them, they aren't even listed in sound devices. I'm on a HP G60 laptop. I went to control panel, clicked on sounds. Then i got a window with 3 tabs but no speakers or headphones anywhere. The volume icon says there's no sound device installed... I'm about to freak out! Please help me

    Hello karem7,
Go to the manufacturers site and download new sound drivers, re-install and try, good luck and post your results.

I had the same trouble as Karem7 because I did something to get my Logitech headphones to work through the USB port. I downloaded the drivers and my sound now works through the front plug and the computer speakers but doesn't work through the USB port. When I go to the Control Panel and click on Sound I see Speakers and Dual Headphones, Independent Dual Headphones, SPDIF (Digital Out via HP Dock), and NVIDIA HDMI Output options but when I click on the Dual Headphones I can't get the computer to switch to this option. Any ideas??
