One fuzzy speaker?

Hey,

I have an Acer Aspire 5720z, two speakers in it. They both worked great, and randomly like 6 months ago, the right speaker would make a weird tinny fuzzy noise... It normally happens when the speakers are at high volume, but sometimes happens at low volume. To fix it, I either need to tap on top of the speaker, or take the cover off and blow on the speaker and dust it off to fix it.

I was wondering if there is anyway to permanently fix this, the speaker is not pushed in or anything either.

could be that the speaker is faulty, or possibly a static buildup - which could explain why the distortion dissapears when you touch the speaker.

or could just be a poor soldering job on the wiring
