Yeah, it's worth having SP2 installed. When I had it, Vista overall felt more responsive, not to mention having the better security and fixes it gives.
Any idea What I can do to solve this problem? I have about $800 worth of recording software.
I don't use this software, sorry. My advice would be if you're having problems with it, then roll back the driver to the previous version that was working fine, in the Device Manager.
