How to know if Sound card if full fuplex

Hello,

When I use Music Maker software I am often asked if my sond card is fulll duplex or not. I do not what does this mean.
My computer is Dell XPS M1530 and the Computer's sound card is
Sigmatel High defination audio codecs. But for music making I have connected
Tascam audio interface US122 MKII.
Screen shot attached for reference.

Your help is needed.

Yes that is enough.
When I use Music Making soft with audio interface connected with computer and audio driver choosen in music soft I hear and record.

Oh yes, may be you know about this thing.(Please let me ask)
As I said, I can record using Music software, audio interface connected with computer. But why can't I record with other soft when I play and record I have to dis-connect audio interface.
Example: Audio interface is a part of my pc now always connected. During Music Making I just use Music software and can playback and rcord while I listen.

I do have other soft such as Creative Media source, Audacity, if I play and want to record I can not first have to dis connect audio interface then use Line in from Head phone to Mic and it can record.
I wish without dis connecting audio interface I can also use other software to record.

I know what I am asking is not vista related just may be if you know.
