On my Vista PC the old volume mixer has been replaced by the Realtek HD audio manager and I hate using it...... Does anyone know how to change it back?

You can use both programs, they work seamlessly with each other, it's just user preference, but you need the software running as the drivers need to be running for you to get sound, hope this helps

Hello Kamo2x, welcome to the forum.

If you’ve installed or updated a new driver that is causing problems on your computer, you can easily roll back to the prior version of the driver with a few simple steps.

This link may help you to roll back to the prior version.
