    export mp3 tracks from itunes to an external drive

    hello everyone

    can anyone please tell me if it is possible to take all of my mp3 tracks out of itunes
    and on to my external hard drive.

    You may want the I Handler. Since not tried by me, you may want to start with a system restore point, just in case.

    Hello calmat,

    Are they all stored in the same music folder? But there's a mix of mp3 and other extensions within that folder and you just want the mp3s?

    i have imported some cds and changed them to mp3 format and now i want to save them on my external hard drive, how do i get them out of itunes. rich46 has given me
    a programme to try and i was wondering if their is any other way to do this.

    Hi,

    As you have already converted them to mp3 format, look in your music folder: -

    The files will be in music/Itunes/ etc. etc. > > > listed for the artist or CD title. Just copy the folders in Itunes & you will have the files.
