audio device

i have windows vista 32bit and my sound has not been working for about 3-4 months iv been searching for online for solutions but i have not found any , the sound is completely missing iv looked in device manager and its not there i have also tried downloading but it says there is no device and if i hover over the volume icon it says "No Audio Output Device is installed" plz give me some advice on what to do its making me angry:mad::mad:

Go to Start

and type Device Manager into the search box. Open it up and look for any yellow exclamation marks (see blue marks in pic for example) next to any of the devices in there, especially in the audio devices section (see red marks in pic). Let me know if you have any.

See if this will help > go back to Device Manager > left click at " Sound, video and game controllers "> at the top, click Action > click Scan for hardware changes.

Does the system re-install what is missing ?
