So yesterday I installed windows vista onto my computer (there was no OS on it before) but there is no sound my speakers are plugged in and I can see the sound thing jumping there's just no sound I have tried uninstalling and installing the drivers again but no luck I also tried the microsoft audio repair thing but it's still not working anyone know how to fix this?

I switched out a cord and now headphones will work but the speaker still wont
