Anyone know how to take apart a laptop?

The jack for the headphones has been dislodged somehow and is now lost inside the laptop. I would like to hook up speakers but they won't work in the mic jack. I have it connected to my tv using vga but there's no sound input/output to hook the two together. No HDMI on the laptop either :sarc: the only thing I can think of is try try opening the laptop and line up the headphone jack or rig it if I have to, to get the speakers to work. Any suggestions? I heard it's probably best off NOT opening a laptop, but it just seems like such an easy fix if the jacks just been pushed in can't I just push it out?

If the headphone jack popped off, you will have to resolder it onto the motherboard. You should take your laptop to a computer repair place to get that fixed.

You can possibly get a service manual online, but soldering to a board is tricky.

oh, I just figured it got loose inside and I could push it back out to connect. If that's the case then I won't even bother. Thanks!
