Realtek HD Audio manager not delivering the sound

    Vista Home Premium 32bit.

    Realtek HD Audio manager not delivering the sound

    Can somebody give me some pointers with this issue.

    Volume mixer shows sound (moving band), the test system in realtek works. Devices are enabled, but no sound actually comes out the speakers (except for the realtek test noises).



    Any clues? Thanks

    Hi tyoll,

    We can try few troubleshooting steps to check if issue gets resolved:

    1. Run the Windows Audio Playback Diagnose and Repair from the below Microsoft FIX-IT link: Automatically diagnose and fix Windows audio playback problems
    2. Download and Install the Latest Audio Drivers.
    3. Perform System Restore (only if Software Configuration Changes were made).

    NOTE: With system restore you will not lose any data from the computer, any new programs installed in the computer you would need to reinstall the programs back on the computer.

    Please post back with the results.
