audiodg.exe problem??

Hi:
I am using
Vista 64 home premium

Sound card : Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme

I do not know if this is an audiodg.exe problem or something else but ...

....whenever I reboot my computer and play some videos (avi, mp4 , etc, independent of video types) or even watch youtube videos or anything to do with sound, it takes possibly 45 seconds or more to start, but once the first video or sound has been played after reboot, subsequent video / music plays start right away.

When this delay happens , I look into the task manager, apparently audiodg.exe is busy with the CPU (1 % , so not high) and hard drive, something is being loaded.

I virusscan / rootkit scan my system, nothing found.

I do not have the audiodg.exe causing high CPU load problem.

There are two versions of audiodg.exe , one in /Windows/system32 ; the other in SysWoW64 and some audiodg.mui files . Looking at these files' properties , they are shown to be Microsoft files.

Also, I do have some of the audio enhancement features for Xi-Fi soundcard turned on.

My questions are:

1) Is the delay caused by audiodg.exe or the loading of the audio enhancement features? Anything else could be causing this delay of playing multimedia files after reboot?

2) If so, why are these audio enhancements not loaded with the loading of Vista, it only gets loaded when I start up some video play or audio for the first time after reboot?

3) How do I eliminate this delay?

I already used sfc to scan the system files and Vista says the harddrive does not need to be defragmented.

Regards
