Vista Windows Media Player 11.0.6000.6324 x64 and x86

hi,
i was wondering if somebody could upload windows vista's media player 11. Its not available from Microsoft and i don't want to do a full re-install just for media player. I inadvertently had to delete the folder because of some files that had become corrupt.

i basically need these two folders. They should both contain windows Media Player 11.0.6000.6324 if your running vista.

C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player

C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Media Player


I know from past experience that copying these folders is quite tricky.You have to take ownership of the folder and the files within with the following instructions.


However you should not need to do that.

1) Right Click on the File or Folder and select properties from the menu .

2) Click on the Security Tab > Click on the Advanced Button

3) Click on Owner Tab > Click on Edit button

4) Confirm UAC if you have it turned on

5) Change ownership to yourself

6) repeat for Administrator as well
