Re: New Realtek HD audio driver update

yes speaker fill is enabled and it makes a difference, but its not exactly what I was looking for. Still.. I get a lot more sound from the front than the rears.

Re: New Realtek HD audio driver update

According to the various setups in the RealTek drivers, ther is Stereo, 5.1 7.1 and optionally one other (I beleive it is laptop speakers). YMMV

Only the red output of the mic seems to work correctly. "Mute the rear output device" is enable, "disable front panel jack detection" is off (this one I tried to enable as suggest in other forums and google, but nothing change). And I don't understand why the digital output and the digital input are enable, if i don't have nothing plugged in them!

Only the R2.07 works correctly: three driver versions, same bug! I wrote to Realtek support mail but nobody answer me!

(NB: the language is Italian, I enable English Language only in the Realtek Sound Manager)

PS: sorry for my bad English.

Here some pics:
you do seem to have a bit of trouble there DarkRadeon, i think you need to set devices as independent audio inputs rather than tying them up, secondly, you seem to have a lot of devices connected, example... soundblaster audio devices, this might be a conflict of devices which could be causing the issue.
I have an audigy2 value another HD AUDIO for the HMDI output of my GPU too(which one is disable 'couse I don't need audio via HDMI), but only with new drivers I got this problem. I tried to set independent devices from the rear output devices and the fornt panel audio but nothing change. It isn't a conflict between my audigy2 and the ALC880 or the HDMI audio of my Radeon 3870, otherwise with the old drivers I should got the same issues, but it isn't so.

PS: sorry for my really crappy English ç______ç

Dear Sirs,

Is there any way that you can improve the performance and speed of your website and download servers? Even the main page is slow to load up. I don't have this problem with any other sites, but yours always seems to be very slow and when I do manage to get to the download page, the downloads are very slow, typically under 10KB/sec. I do not find this to be acceptable.
I am still having huge problems with accessing the Realtek website satisfactorily. I have just sent the above message to their Webmaster, and, if they reply, I will post back with what they have to say. I am not going to hold my breath, however.
