windows defender no allow box to check

I have a program i have been using for point of sale software. Windows defender makes me click the allow box each time i start it . There is no box to check to allow this program to run every time i launch it. any ideas?

Do you have an "Always Allow" button?

Have you tried right clicking on the item and running it as an Administrator? That may give you different options.

You could always disable Windows Defender, especially if you have other similar applications.
