Your thoughts on Live OneCare?

Hi Everyone,

I'm soliciting opinions on the Live OneCare package here. i usually just use the free-ware, i.e., Comodo, AVG, etc. But this is free through Amazon right now (after rebate) and the idea of having things in a central interface so i'm tempted. Nothing to lose, they have a 90 day trial period, just curious?

Do you use it and like it or not?

Thanks!

Re: Your thoughts on Live OneCare?

Personally I haven't used it but all I've heard about it is bad to be honest. PC Pro did a review of it not so long ago. PC Pro: Product Reviews: Microsoft Windows Live OneCare 2

I used Antivir and Comodo Firewall along with Spybot for spyware. Not had any problems with them so far.

Re: Your thoughts on Live OneCare?

That PC Pro review is a lot of horsehockey and biased, as that site didn't do a proper review of the program.

PC World - Microsoft Windows Live OneCare 2.0 Review

I use Live OneCare 2.0 myself, and it's saved my hide on more than one occassion, which is more than I can say for other programs. I also use Spyware Blaster, which immunizes my system. Live OneCare 2.0 is the only commercial program, that will install on my desktop and laptop, and not use a boatload of resources.

Re: Your thoughts on Live OneCare?

I love Live OneCare 2.0..well as much as one can love a anti-virus prog.

No problems whatsoever with it. Surprisingly user-friendly too.
