What is the best overall security protection?

I have Kaspersky and it seems to be ok. But it is very weird and pretty hard to use. Im not sure if i want it anymore but i need to be 100% sure of another program before i uninstall the other one. I also wanted to know if it is possible to have 2 security protection on your computer at once. I would only want this because i would never want to have my computer being used without virus protection. Thanks everyone,
    Ben

I found Avast to be the best at finding Trojan horses and it has separate scanners for each area to limit CPU utilization.

Eset's NOD32 is not a free program, but is inexpensive ($27 annual renewal), and protects against viruses and spy/malware. It has a very small footprint, and It has won more awards, and has a better detection/removal rate that any of the above listed programs including Symantec's Norton, and Mcafee. Microsoft is a client of theirs and use it to protect their own servers.

AVG Free. I think it's great, and I've never got a single virus the entire time I used it. It works really fast and it's really good at catching viruses.

I go to some shady placed from time to time and so *knock on wood* have kept a clean machine using...Avira free edition, SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Antimalware coupled with Windows own firewall.

I used Comodo on my old XP system and the popups drove me crazy...

Still wasn't as bad a ZoneAlarm and once the "learning" phase was over the popups weren't so bad.
