Re: please help thank you

From a quick google it suggests that it's a trojan, what antivirus software do you have installed?

msupdte.exe - Dangerous High Level Trojan
I suggest you to remove msupdte.exe from your computer as soon as possible.
Msupdte.exe is Trojan/Backdoor Access.
Kill the process msupdte.exe and remove msupdte.exe from Windows startup.

Also run a full scan with Avast to be downloaded from here: FREE avast! antivirus 4.x Home Edition, anti-spyware & anti-rootkit for Windows and best of all its Free

Re: please help thank you

Norton has a reputation as being one of the most burdensome antivirus programs (it slows down your PC). Some of the free ones have a better detection rate and are also less of a performance drag.

Seems Norton even missed your msupdte.exe which is a known malware and should be in any decent antivirus program's database by now.

I think the free versions of Avira Antivir or Avast are better for the home user.

Re: please help thank you

Just load it up and let it do a scan, it should do the rest for you

Re: please help thank you

And make sure you uninstall norton using the norton uninstaller utility.
The link for the utility is:
